Until today, I never had anything negative to say about this dental practice. I’ve been a patient for well over 10 years. But my experience today was humiliating. My appointment was scheduled 3 months ago to come in for a cleaning which I thought was covered under my insurance. When I get there, my hygienist whom has done a great job with my teeth was not there and they had rescheduled me with a new guy. It would’ve been nice if they had called to let me know. And I could’ve decided if I still wanted to come or reschedule. Then the hygienist who they rescheduled me with seemed like a nice guy, but there was an odor coming from either his clothes or body. Which made it uncomfortable since he is leaning over you. After the cleaning was over, I go to pay and the lady at the front desk says I need to pay $100 for services today which I’ve never heard of for a regular cleaning. Then when I tell her I was not prepared to pay that today. She acts as if she wants to hold me hostage over $100 which keep in mind, I’ve given this practice thousands of dollars not only for my oral care, but my daughters, and I even referred friends and family. On top of that, I just paid them over $1,000 back in December 2020 and have never in over 10 years left that office with a balance. Some way to treat your loyal patients. The entire situation left me feeling like I was betrayed by someone close to me. As I have always respected the people in this practice and thought of them as kinda family. I don’t know what has happened to this practice. After the pandemic I noticed that they have let several great hygienist go and also the guy who I recently went to. And the front desk ladies, with the exception of one, are unprofessional and seem clueless.
